   If the Political Classholes stuck to legislating against malum in se crimes (murder, rape, robbery, theft — things that are bad by themselves) instead of continually inventing malum prohibitum “crimes” (things that are “bad” simply because the Political Classholes disapprove of them — guns, alcohol, changing your own car’s oil, hiring an unlicensed contractor to repair your house, etc.), then these incidents wouldn’t happen as much.
