The Albuquerque (New Mexico) Police Department went on strike back in July, 1975.

After the lamestream snoozemedia predicted a massive crime wave, the actual result was the exact opposite — the crooks went on vacation during the strike.

They’re also supposed to use marked vehicles for traffic stops, last time I heard.

Albuquerque PD has outfitted its Traffic Unit with white, unmarked cars for decades now. Apparently, just having the New Mexico State Government plate (usually G-______) on the back bumper makes it a “marked vehicle.”

I’d be surprised if there isn’t someone in Catron County already thinking about this sort of thing.

Just get it over with and defund the entire City of Albuquerque. Follow that up by defunding Bernalillo County. Let Keller, Davis, O’Malley et al hold a garage sale or whatever to pay for their nonsensical garbage.
