   “The legislation would allow for the court-ordered seizure of guns from individuals deemed an imminent danger to themselves or others.”

   That is the stated intent of the legislation.

   As we have already seen in other states, this sort of statute is ripe for abuse, particularly where false accusations and misunderstandings are involved.

   For what it’s worth, the public officials supporting this legislation have repeatedly demonstrated their willful disregard and disrespect for the State and U.S. Constitutions, and for their constituents that disagree with them.
