Ventilators are allegedly critical equipment in this situation, yet you have to jump through regulatory hoops to build them, or to buy or sell existing models? If someone really needs to be on one, what are you supposed to do — intubate the person with a length of garden hose and use a bicycle pump?!

[ABQ Journal] Re: “Hitting the Brakes” (“Speak Up!” submission)

“NM’s oil and gas industry is on the edge of a shutdown”

Well, the lefty-fascist economics deniers HAVE stated their desire to make NM “carbon-free” :

Why Cover Up a Potential Cure for COVID-19?

A few days ago, I received this link from Tom Taylor of the Albuquerque Tea Party

Covid-19 had us all fooled, but now we might have finally found its secret, by “libertymavenstock”

Here’s the original URL — https://medium.com/@agaiziunas/covid-19-had-us-all-fooled-but-now-we-might-have-finally-found-its-secret-91182386efcb

When you click that link, here’s what you get —

Now it seems that the described course of treatment (basicallly hydroxycholoroquine with zinc) is turning out to . . . actually work.

Why even try to cover it up?

Riding taxpayer-subsidized transit should make you immune to just about anything.

Q: What do you call someone who wears a white suit while riding the bus?

Let me correct that for you —

“Sociopaths insist that others surrender liberty, money, property, whatever, just so that they can have their momentary warm fuzzy that they ‘made a difference’ and ‘got something done.'”

Add “Terminator without the budget” to the original post and your review of the movie will be spot on.

I saw it back around 1993 or 1994, when VHS rentals were still a thing, and probably have a digital copy saved on one of my hard drives.

Put your phone into one of those anti-static bags that come with hard drives, and / or take the battery out.

If you need a Faraday cage sturdier than the anti-static bag, wrap your phone in polyurethane foam, then put it inside an ammo can.

Ed Nagel once called for the “Round Tax” of zero (0) percent when he ran for New Mexico’s 3rd Congressional district back in the mid-1990s.

And L. Neil Smith’s tax plan was “Pay As You Like.” Again, 100 % voluntary, with no criminal or civil penalty for non-payment.

IF we absolutely, positively HAVE to have a national taxation scheme, the rate should be in the single digits, not this 23-30 percent nonsense that the “Fair Tax” calls for. The 23-30 percent is so its proponents can say that it’s “revenue neutral,” which is a Political Classhole code phrase for “We won’t actually have to cut spending, but let’s keep the proles thinking that we will.”
