“law-abiding concealed handgun license holder”
I’m becoming less and less fond of the phrase “law-abiding” when used in connection with the right to own and carry weapons, considering that the hoplophobes and victim disarmers openly state their intent to make it more and more difficult for us abide by the law while being armed in any capacity whatsoever.

Bernie would be the bag of Brussel Sprouts that someone left on the counter because they were too lazy to return them the frozen veggies section.

If it had been the DPNM headquarters, they would be screaming “racism!” and “hate crime!” for a week.
When was the last time a Republican or libertarian ever hit someone they disagreed with at a rally over the head with a bike lock?
When was the last time a Republican or libertarian ever lit M-80 fuses, stuffed the lit M-80s into empty wine bottles, then tossed those bottles into the Democrat crowd?

Sunday afternoon, I picked up burger at Carl’s Jr, and noticed that they’re making a significant push in marketing their plant-based “Beyond Burger.” [1]
Same goes for Burger King and their “Impossible Burger.” [1]
Speaking for myself, I’m up for some Beyond Broccoli —
Have a craving for a food with the disgusting taste and texture of broccoli but the nutritional value of bacon? Well say hello to Beyond Broccoli, the only vegetable made from 100% real pork!
“Every one of our pigs is fed a diet consisting entirely of wholesome, organic broccoli,” said company spokesman Brad Weimaraner. “So each bite of its flesh tastes like a crisp, delicious floret picked fresh from the vine, or whatever it is that broccoli grows on.”
Weimaraner says Beyond Broccoli is currently available in bacon, pork chop, and ham varieties. But they’re considering adding kielbasa and Canadian bacon options to break into the international market.
I’m sure that any residents of the Alpha Lyrae system wouldn’t appreciate the screechy asswipes who have co-opted the name “vegan.”
What I’d really like to see is Beyond Asparagus, Beyond Cauliflower, and most especially Beyond Brussel Sprouts.

Here’s the letter I sent a minute ago to the committee (not my best writing, but this has been a less than ideal week here):
Dear Senators,
I am writing to thank Senator Richard Martinez for voting against SB 5 in the previous committees, the “red flag” bill, and to urge the rest this committee and the State Senate to vote likewise against this atrocious, anti-freedom piece of legislation.
SB 5 tramples the freedoms that are supposed to be protected by the Second, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Amendments, as follows:
* It allows for the forcible disarmament of people who need to have firearms the most — the five-foot, 100-pound woman being stalked by a deranged, six-foot, 200-pound ex-boyfriend who calls law enforcement and tells them that she’s “suicidal.”
* The bill allows for ex parte proceedings to take place, where the respondent is not only denied the right to offer a defense to the court, but the respondent is not even aware that the proceedings are taking place. Thus the respondent is denied the chance to confront his or her accuser, or to call witnesses in his or her defense.
Thank you for listening to my views.

It seems that quite often, people get confused between FB Groups and Pages.
I wasn’t aware that groups could request membership in other groups.
However, Facebook Pages can be admitted to groups — there are three in my NM Libertarians group.
Is it possible that the Cowboys for Trump page (representing the organization) requested a membership here?
