Here is the text of the email (?) that I sent to Deb Haaland via the 4-page contact form on her Congressional website —
As a tax-paying resident of the 1st District for 25 years, I am writing to you to stand firm against anti-liberty measures routinely introduced in Congress, usually calls for “gun control,” more properly called victim disarmament or civilian disarmament, such as “red flag” confiscation bills, ‘Minority Report’-style precrime measures like the TAPS Act.
This past weekend, we saw more than one evil man go to a gun-free VICTIM DISARMAMENT ZONE, and kill numerous people. The vultures whom you work with will call for various acts of tyranny, from sundry measures to restrict lawful firearms owners’ rights, to banning certain types of firearms magazines, and other accessories; even outright gun confiscation. Others will renew calls for wholly unconstitutional measures like the proposed TAPS Act.
I ask that you go another way: Push for a national Constitutional Carry Act, restoring the intent of the 2nd Amendment that law-abiding citizens be able to resist any enemy, foreign or domestic, that threatens life, liberty, and domestic tranquility. Push for a national repeal / moratorium of unconstitutional gun-free VICTIM DISARMAMENT Zones. Push for a ban on media glorification of mass killers; these psychopaths revel in gaining their 15 minutes of infamy! We MUST deny them their motive and their reward, but media companies insist on being irresponsible. They must be held accountable for their criminal negligence.
Be mindful, please. We The People own over 400 million firearms in the hands of over 110 million lawful gun owners. We will not disarm. We will not surrender essential liberty or property. America has tried gun control for over 50 years now and all it has done is bring more violence, so clearly this is not working. It’s time to go the other way: full-bore freedom! It is time to abolish all gun controls. Author Robert A. Heinlein summed it up best: “An armed society is a POLITE society”.

I was going to add a comment or two under each of the above pictures, but that would be superfluous, in my opinion.
Also in my opinion, libertarianism without a healthy, expanding gun culture to back it up isn’t much more than an intellectual exercise at best, and wishful fantasizing at worst.
This sort of thing is what you get when a movement’s advocates value “diversity” and “inclusiveness” over principles.
For those of you in the “Libertarian” Party of New Mexico who in 2017 signed off on the notion that everyone before the Johnson / Weld 2016 exercise in serial treason against both the organization and its professed principles was “good on the Second Amendment, but not much else,” I cordially invite you to anally self-fornicate with a plugged-in curling iron, or a lit stick of dynamite. My sincere regret is that I am unable to supply the latter for any of you.

Someone that looks like De Niro can seen standing to the left of the older orange car on the left side of the video.
It should be noted that not only was the photographer taking the picture from public property (somewhere in the Downtown area of Albuquerque), but that the set itself also seems to have been located on public property.
Someone needs to tell the producers and locations managers that if they don’t want the general public taking pictures or video of their stars or the set, then they should not use public streets as their set.
Just because you flash some cash in front of some Political Classholes, that doesn’t mean that you get to have exclusive use of public property.

Basically, where Facebook Groups are concerned, the Facebook admins and the robots that they task with doing most of the real work of determining whether or not everyone is playing nice are going to be placing a lot more responsibility onto group owners and admins to make sure that everyone plays nice.

For those of you who have been carefully watching the DNC-sponsored “debates” between various “presidential candidates,” trying to figure out which of them has the most “innovative” “solutions” to America’s “problems,” let me sum them all up for you with a picture —

As far as any of these . . . individuals . . . is concerned, your life, liberty, money, property, and pursuit(s) of happiness don’t belong to you at all.
NONE of these . . . persons . . . displays any evidence of caring about your individual rights, privileges or immunities in the slightest.
Rather, in their minds, your life, liberty, money, property, and pursuit(s) of happiness are theirs, to take away, to give to others, to use as they see fit, or to destroy, at their arbitrary and capricious whim.
In their minds, your individual rights, privileges or immunities aren’t yours at all in any way, but theirs, to be granted to you or taken away from you at their discretion.
In the end, tuning in to these cretins and idiots is a total waste of time, electricity, and bandwidth, in my opinion.

At about 10:11 PM last night, power went out on West Side of Albuquerque.
At 11:53 PM, I checked the sites for KRQE, KOAT and KOB — no mention of the blackout whatsoever.
At 12:02 AM, I checked the PNM site — no mention of the outage, but I submitted an outage report using my phone.
At 12:04 AM, I checked the Albuquerque Journal site — no mention of the blackout whatsoever.
At 12:24 AM, I improvised an alcohol lamp using a glass pickle jar, a glass horseradish jar and rubbing alcohol (70 % isopropyl alcohol)

At 12:55 AM, the power came back on, just as suddenly as it went out.
All during the blackout, I could hear rotor blades going by overhead, at what sounded like 200 feet above the ground. The only helicopters permitted to fly at night or during cloudy weather (that I know of) are government agencies. In this case, it was most likely either the Albuquerque Police Department or the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
And local lamestream snoozemedia was of no use during the blackout — while this was going on, it seemed like they made no effort whatsoever to cover it, but top of all of their websites was “popular” New Mexico singer fatally shot in downtown Santa Fe.

Earlier this morning, I saw gravel falling through the bathroom vent, and heard a chirping sound coming from the same vent.
Thinking that a bird had gotten trapped in the vent, I went up to the roof, pulled off the vent cover, and found a squirrel trapped inside —
 
At first, I put a stick down the pipe, so that said squirrel could climb up and out to freedom. No dice there — my trapped friend was probably too scared to do so.
Next, I grabbed a pair of leather work gloves from the garage, picked up the squirrel, and then lifted the squirrel up and out of the vent pipe.
Alas, my new pal didn’t stick around for a post-rescue photo.
I did make sure to cover the vent pipe with some window screen mesh and secure that to the pipe with duct tape before replacing the vent cover.
In the end, I saved a pile of FRNs by not having to call any sort of contractor, and avoided having to deal with the City (didn’t need to call “Animal Control”).
