Yesterday was the first snow of the 2022 / 2023 winter season. We’ve had occasional flurries before, but none of it actually stuck on the ground.

Usually, we don’t get much snow in Albuquerque — once or twice a year, one or two inches per time, and that’s it./

Still, when we do, it tends to shut down the city for about 12 hours.

This winter (first half of 2022), we have had THREE (3) such “blizzards” […]

Today’s snow started off as nothing much at all —

Bt 6:30PM MST, the snowfall had picked up considerably, and about two inches (2″) had accumulated on the ground:
