The point of the pre-joining questions for the Facebook group is to try to screen out some of the out-of-state anti-libertarian types. It’s not like there’s a lack of in-state anti-libertarian types.

The group was set up for people who are already on board with the message and philosophy.

City Council and mayoral races are officially non-partisan, though candidates’ affiliations are kind of an open secret, and the candidates are free to advertise those affiliations.

Yes, only the candidates’ names are listed on the ballot, not any form of partisan affiliation.

Note that this doesn’t stop any of the partisan-based dirty tricks, like those we saw by Brett Kokinadis against the Bedonie campaign in the 2022 election cycle.

I am thinking I might be able to run against Pat Davis, who is the incumbent for District 6 in Albuquerque.

The actual right does condemn the so-called white supremacists.

The Aryan Airheads are actually just another form of leftist. The only ones saying they’re on “the right” are other leftists who don’t like competition from the Aryan Airheads.

    A Request for Help

Jim Davidson, a long-time contributor to TLE, is currently awaiting trial on extended traffic related charges. See his early October article on the status of his case, [Due Process of Law] (https://ncc-1776.org/tle2022/tle1176-20221002-05.html). Since then he has retained an attorney. The attorney usually charges $2,000 to start; there may be more, possibly $10,000.

Jim maintains his innocence with respect to the charges, and while the Libertarian Enterprise will not comment on the particulars of the situation, we do believe that everyone is owed a fair trial and the ability to retain a lawyer. To that end, we have set up a GiveSendGo page. Jim, and we, would be extremely grateful for any help our readers would be able to kindly provide.

Jim offers a free copy of his new book in consideration of donations of $25 or more.

    https://givesendgo.com/G3DA3

Donations will show up as “Rule of Law,” and will be directed to an account in Cathy’s name which will then be provided to counsel.

    Thank you

Which AMA task force will focus on “knife violence” (stabbings and slashings), “blunt-object violence” (assault and battery with baseball bats, pieces of pipe or rebar, canes, etc.), or “bare-handed violence” (unarmed assault and battery)?

What about “automotive violence” (hit-and-run drivers)? Will we be required to get background checks, or get photographed and fingerprinted before buying or renting a car?
